NETWORK RESISTOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliable network resistor and its manufacturing method, easy to be manufactured at high yield and not to be shortcircuited between electrodes in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A network resistor is provided with a substrate 10 divided by a dividing trench 32 so as to traverse through holes 30 also having recesses 22, so that a metallic thin film electrode layer 24 may be formed on the inner wall surface of the recesses 22 by the through holes 30 by means of vacuum evaporation and sputtering process. Finally, electrode layers 28 are formed through solder plating process on the surface of this metallic thin film electrode layer 24.
