<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment that facilitate setting of various conditions required by an operator before fetching image data with an image pickup unit in YAG laser welding. SOLUTION: This welding equipment is provided with a YAG laser machining head 3 having a work image pickup means 11, an image processing controller 15 that processes an image picked up by the means 11, and an NC controller 5 for controlling the YAG laser machining head 3; thereby setting and registering preliminarily as a data file in the NC controller 5 the plural conditions for taking in an image corresponding to the combination of the work W material and the shape of a welding joint, retrieving the image fetching conditions corresponding to the inputted data in accordance with the data of the work W material and the welding joint shape inputted in the NC controller 5, and correcting the machining program in accordance with these image fetching conditions.</p> |
