PACKET ROUTING SYSTEM AVOIDING DEAD LOCK

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in a resource utility rate due to a dead lock avoidance by allowing the dead lock to be avoided in a packet communication network adopting an optional topology even after the topology revision produced during the packet communication network operation. SOLUTION: A packet transfer path from a specific input port to a specific output port is inhibited to avoid a dead lock and information of an inhibited transfer path is stored in an inhibit turntable 8 of each node. Contents of the inhibit turntable 9 are updated by a circulation exclusion means 9 while a packet communication network is in operation.
