PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray communication relay system capable of amplifying the infrared ray level of an infrared ray communication equipment and enabling communication. SOLUTION: In this infrared ray communication relay system for performing infrared ray communication between first and second equipments capable of the infrared ray communication respectively provided with a light emitting part and a light receiving part, a relay unit 3 for relaying the infrared ray communication of the first equipment 1 and the second equipment 2 between the first equipment 1 and the second equipment 2 is provided. The relay unit 3 amplifies an infrared ray signal level emitted from the first and second equipments 1 and 2 and re-transmits it to the first and second equipments 1 and 2 and the infrared ray communication is made possible even when the first and second equipments 1 and 2 are separated for more than a stipulated communicable distance. |
