PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to view a newly-arrived image in real time and to view the video image at a convenient time in emergency. SOLUTION: The video distribution system is provided with a video center 1 having a monitor device 4 that registers occurrence of a newly arrived video image and a title notice device 5 that informs a received terminal of the occurrence of the newly arrived video image in a PUSH form. Furthermore, the system is provided with a video reception terminal 8 with a title display device 7 that displays forcibly a title on a screen and a PULL device 8 that receives a video image from the video center 1. The user monitors, e.g. an urgent news by the devices above.
