PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electrophoresis chip resolving the decrease of light quantity and difficulties of adjusting optical axis in detecting UV absorption. SOLUTION: The thickness of a plate member 1 is set <= 250 μm and the thickness of a plate member 2 is set >= 1,000 μm, and a plate member 2 is provided with sample guide groove 3 and an analysis groove 4. The plate member 1 is provided with through-hole 5 corresponding to both ends of the sample guide groove 3 and the analysis groove 4 and a liquid reservoir 6 is set up on the outer periphery. the cross section of the liquid reservoir 6 is tapered so that a conical liquid feed port may be sealed on the tapered portion to provide effective liquid feed with weak pressure during liquid feed. The plate member 1 is further provided with a slit 7 being narrower than the analysis groove 4 corresponding to the analysis groove 4 in the plate member 2. |
