PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a duplicate of a computer file without giving any load to other jobs which are carried out in parallel to the file duplicating job by inquiring automatically about the new producing/updating state of the computer file in a short time and at a fixed interval. SOLUTION: An automatic duplicating device 1 inquires of a storage A 3 about the new producing/updating information on a computer file or receives this information via an API 2 and produces the duplication of a new producing/ updating file of the storage A 3 for a storage B 4. At the same time, the device 1 monitors the motion of a CUP 5 and produces a duplicate of the computer file when the load factor of the CPU 5 lowers continuously for a fixed time, discontinues temporarily the production of the file duplicate when the load factor of the CPU 5 rises and then restarts the production of the file duplicate when the load factor of the CPU 5 lowers continuously again for a fixed time. As a result, a user can produce a computer file with no special endeavor required and can duplicate the computer file without giving any load to the CPU 5. |
