<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a text by one hand at any time at any place, to select a menu and to perform command by one hand at any time at any place. SOLUTION: This text input system has a finger movement detection part 1 for detecting moment of each finger and outputting a signal peculiar to each finger and has a portable type computer 2 which is equipped with a signal analysis part 26 for analyzing a signal of the finger movement detection part 1 and generating a code, a word dictionary 25 for storing a word made to correspond to a retrieval key and a CPU 21 which retrieves the word dictionary 25 with a code string generated in the order of movement of each finger a the retrieval key, selects a candidate word, performs selection processing of the word on the basis of an output of the finger movement detection part 1 with the finger movement when plural candidate words exist, and displays a selected word string as an input sentence.</p> |
