PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to reduce loading caused by the thrust of rotor by improving the face friction into a linear friction. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is characterized in that a lower thrust washer(31), a ring type washer(32), and an upper thrust washer(33) are sequentially interposed between a rotor(2) and a bearing, to thereby allow the upper and lower thrust washers and the ring type washer to linearly contact. When power is applied to the compressor, the rotor rotates and at the same time a crank shaft(5) assembled to the rotor starts rotating. Subsequently, a piston starts reciprocal movement within a cylinder, to thereby compress and discharge the refrigerant. Since the washers are sequentially arranged between the rotor and the bearing, a linear contact state is maintained between the upper and lower thrust washers and the ring type washer. Thus, friction loading at the friction area is minimized during the initial start and operation of the compressor.
