PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequence data processing method and a sequencer, and an electronic musical instrument capable of dealing with the change in tempo or the like and outputting a relative time system and an absolute time system making them correspond to each other while taking an advantage of the relative time system that is sensuously easy to grasp. SOLUTION: This invention is characterized in storing sequence data containing execution times in a relative time system and plural event data of the events to be executed a the times, storing an accumulated relative time, an accumulated absolute time, and each initial value of executing tempos as prescribed start time values, reading the event data in order of execution time, deciding a relative time difference that is a difference between the execution time presented thereby and the accumulated relative time, deciding an absolute time difference based on the executing tempo at that point of time and the relative time difference, updating the relative time difference by accumulating it on the accumulated relative time, updating the absolute time difference by accumulating it on the accumulated absolute time, making the accumulated relative time correspond to the accumulated absolute time using the former as the relative timing information and using the latter as the absolute timing information, to output them, and executing the events. |
