<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for producing masterbatch for toner production, which enables suppressing dusting of pigments in at production of a masterbatch, producing the masterbatch which has a proper compounding ratio between binder resin and the pigment and, at the same time, maintaining satisfactory working environment. SOLUTION: This producing device 11 is provided with a screw feeder 12 which conveys raw material comprising the binder resin and pigment and supplies the conveyed raw material to a subsequent process and an open roll mixer 13 which is constituted, so as to supply the raw material supplied from the screw feeder 12 in-between a pair of open rolls 13a, perform melt mixing by rotating the open roll 13a, and thereby produce masterbatch. The binder resin and pigment are stirred and dispersed by screws 16a of the screw feeder 12, and at the same time, the pigment is attached to the binder resin by triboelectricity.</p> |
