PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner and an image forming method with which offset and the winding of recording material to a fixing roller are prevented, without making much wax to be contained in the toner. SOLUTION: A fixing device satisfies the condition in expression (1), and the softening point of the toner is 110 to 140 deg.C, so that the device satisfies the condition that the softening point of the toner is higher than that of the releasing agent. (1) F.T>1×10-1 [kg.s/cm2] (where F is fixing pressure [kg/cm2] per unit area and T is nip time [s]= the nip width of a roller/the circumferential speed of a fixing part).
