PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is easily usable by a person with hearing difficulties. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a final controlling element including a monochromic liquid crystal display element 6 and a DOWN key 7 and UP key 8 for changing a set value. When an enlargement/reduction is selected from a selection screen of functions, the extent of the set screen of a present magnification (zoom value) and a present set magnification are displayed in the liquid crystal display element 6 (Figure 2 (a)). The display state of this time is an ordinary display. When the DOWN key 7 is pushed in order to lower the set value of the magnification, the set value of the magnification lowers successively and attains a settable lower limit value (where 25%) (Figure 2 (b)). When the DOWN key 7 is further kept pushed in this state, the reversal display (Figure 2 (c)) and the ordinary display (Figure 2 (d)) are repeated while the display of the magnification remains 25%. When the pushing of the DOWN key 7 is ceased at this time, the display returns to the ordinary display (Figure 2 (e)) alone. |
