PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective member for a bib, so designed as to change a bib with another one so as not to require time and labor on washing. SOLUTION: This protective member for the bib is such that a disposable protective member 10 capable of storing a bib 1 therein and protecting the bib, is provided, to be put around the neck of a baby or infant, wherein the protective member 10 can be changed with a new one when getting dirty, the protective member 10 has a water-absorptive sheet layer on its surface where wearer's slaver gets down, a water-proof sheet layer is formed on a rear side 13 coming in contact with the bib 1, a water absorptive body layer is formed between the water-absorptive sheet layer and the waterproof sheet layer, and an opening part 14 is formed on the upper part of the member so as to be in a bag-shape, the bib 1 is prevented from slipping off from the protective member 20 by containing the bib 1 into a storage part 15 followed by folding a turn-back part 16 to close the opening part 14 with an adhesive tape 17. |
