PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly regulate the flow rate of a refrigerant of a heat storage type refrigerating cycle using a liquid refrigerant carrying means and to maintain a heat transfer performance. SOLUTION: In the equipment, The liquid refrigerant carrying means, a load-side flow regulating valve, a load-side heat exchanger, and a heat-storage-side heat exchanger 11 exchanging heat with a heat storage medium in a heat storage tank, are connected circularly by piping so as to constitute a refrigerant circulating circuit. The equipment is provided with a reservoir means 26 of which one end communicates with the connection between the discharge port of the liquid refrigerant carrying means and the load-side flow regulating valve, and the other with the connection between the intake port of this means and the heat-storage-side heat exchanger 11; or which one end communicates with the connection between the discharge port of the liquid refrigerant carrying means and the load-side flow regulating valve, and the other with the connection between the heat-storage-side heat exchanger and the load-side heat exchanger, through the intermediary of opening-closing valves provided in the course. The equipment is provided with means for detecting refrigerant pressures at the discharge and intake ports of the liquid refrigerant carrying means and in the reservoir vessel, and a means for ascertaining the degree of supercooling at the intake or discharge port of the liquid refrigerant carrying means.
