PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation damper that can completely close a passage, can effect swinging motion of a blade lightly, is free from causing noises or the like, and realizes energy saving in the swinging motion of the blade. SOLUTION: The ventilation damper 1 comprises a frame 5 having a passage 4 with an inlet opening 2 and an outlet opening 3 formed in the interior thereof, a blade means 8 freely swingably installed in the frame 5 in such a manner as to open and close the passage 4 by swinging motion in A and B directions and provided with a blade main body 6 and side end sections 7 on both ends of the blade main body 6 in an axial direction X, and a seal member 11 having a sealing curved face 9 to be brought into contact with a sealing curved face 14 on both end sections 7 of the blade means 8 and fixed to the side wall 10 of the frame 5.
