The invention relates to medical and veterinary diagnostic engineering, and can be used for a rapid non-invasive detection of a presence of biological objects (viruses, bacteria etc), for example narcotics or alcohol. The inventive device for detecting biological agents and chemical substances comprises a power supply, an active and an reference electrode, a unit for analysing measured current, a control unit, a database consisting of data recording cells, each cell corresponding to the spectral characteristic of a detected chemical substance or biological agent, and a switch for connecting said cells. Said unit for analysing measured current and control unit are embodied in one integral piece which is connected to the active electrode, power supply and to the database switch. The reference electrode is connected to the power supply, the switch output being connected thereto. Said integral piece can be embodied in the form of a programmed microcontroller, or a programmable microprocessor, or programmable logical integrated circuit in such a way that it is possible to analyse a measured current, and to perform control functions, the functions of database consisting of the data recording cells and of the cell connecting switch. |
