<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information equipment management system, information equipment, an equipment management server, a status management program, an equipment management program and an information equipment management method to grasp the status of the information equipment connected to a network, and to reduce a communication load between the information equipment and the equipment management server. <P>SOLUTION: Information equipment is provided with a self-management means which decides the status of the information equipment based on status information to demonstrate the status of the information equipment with a predetermined collection time interval, and performs predetermined notification to an equipment management server with a predetermined notification interval. The equipment management server is provided with an information equipment operation management means which monitors the presence/absence of the predetermined notification, decides whether the operating status of the information equipment is a communication enabling status based on the presence/absence of the predetermined notification, and manages the decided operating status of the information equipment for each of information equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
