<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of sputter or the like to the inside of a housing in the case of preventing the oxidation of a welding part peripheral part by blowing a pressurized inert gas to a welding part at the time of welding in a recording medium cartridge provided with a flat housing formed by spot-welding upper and lower shell halves by a laser beam at a plurality of parts of the abutting part of peripheral walls. <P>SOLUTION: Welding is performed in a state of blowing the pressurized inert gas to the welding part from a diagonal lower part within a surface vertical to the peripheral walls 3s and 4s of the upper and lower shell halves 3 and 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
