PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of diagnosing the deterioration of an oil-immersed transformer capable of obtaining a remaining lifetime including the degree of deterioration as a diagnosis result precisely in a short time even by an inexperienced person. SOLUTION: This method includes a step for forming a self-organized map learned by input data including years of use of one or more used oil-immersed transformers, evaluated data of operating conditions of the oil immersed transformer, the component and concentration of a dissolved gas in the insulation oil of the oil-immersed transformer, and the assumed remaining lifetime of the oil-immersed transformer assumed by the component and concentration of the dissolved gas; and a step for obtaining the assumed remaining lifetime of the oil-immersed transformer that is an object for diagnosis from the self-organized map with the component and concentration of the dissolved gas, in the insulation oil of the oil-immersed transformer that is the object for diagnosis and the evaluated data of the operating conditions of the oil-immersed transformer that is the object for diagnosis as input data.
