PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnover decision device having improved decision accuracy of a turnover. SOLUTION: In this turnover decision method, a vertical acceleration Ao of a trunk of a test subject is calculated on the basis of an angular velocity and an acceleration detected by sensors installed to the trunk of the test subject, and vertical displacementΔZ of the trunk of the test subject is calculated on the basis of the vertical acceleration Ao of the trunk of the test subject. Next, the vertical acceleration Ao of the trunk of the test subject is corrected such that the vertical displacementΔZ of the trunk of the test subject accords with the vertical displacement of the trunk of the test subject at prescribed time just before time suspected of the turnover, and the vertical displacementΔZ of the trunk of the test subject is corrected on the basis of a correction value Ao1 of the vertical acceleration Ao.
