摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly represent the cutoff characteristic of a fuse even when a short-circuit current vertically varies across a rated current of the fuse. SOLUTION: This fuse meltdown time simulation circuit is provided with: a detection part 26 for detecting a current flowing through a circuit; a first calculation part 27 for calculating fuse meltdown energy when a detection start switch 28 is turned on connected in series to the detection part 26; a second calculation part 29 for calculating liberated energy when the detection start switch 28 is turned on connected in parallel with the first calculation part 27; a comparison part 30 for comparing the calculation results of the first and second calculation parts 27 and 29 with each other; and a fuse switch 25 for simulating the state of the fuse substituted for the fuse of an objective device. When a fluctuation current generated in an incomplete short circuit is above a threshold value, the detection start switch 28 is turned on; and the detection start switch 28 is turned off when the fluctuation current is below the threshold value.
