PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal allowing easy crimping and connection of a wire thereto with a predetermined crimp strength. SOLUTION: When a cover in an end of a covered wire is peeled off, a core part is inserted into a core crimp part 13 and the core crimp part 13 is crimped from the outside to reduce the cross-sectional area thereof by using a manual crimp tool 31, crimp parts 13a and 13b firmly fix the core part, a lever 13d extends toward a crimp piece 13a at the same time and a hook part 13e bites into a groove part 13c. In the biting, the hook part 13e moves to the outer side groove part 13c in a ratchet style as the outline of the core crimp part 13 reduces, whereby the relationship between the crimp pieces 13a and 13b is kept to prevent the deformation of the core crimp part 13 from being restored.
