PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a failure inspection of a female connector. SOLUTION: Connection function failure of female pins 22-28 provided in the female connector 10 is inspected with a connector inspecting device 50 provided with male pins 70-76 for inspection. Before the inspection, the male pin 70 for inspection is slid forward with its pin tail 84 pushed in a pin hole 66 of a resistance plate 60. And it receives backward force from an expanded spring 88 and receives forward resistance force which balances with the force from a resistance plate 66. When the connector inspecting device 50 is fitted to the female connector 10 at inspection, the male pins 70-76 for inspection receive insertion resistance corresponding to a binding function from the female connectors 22-28. Therefore, the male pins 70-76 for inspection jump out of the resistance plate 60 if there is no binding failure in the female pins 22-28 and stay in the resistance plate 60 if there is the failure.
