PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel connecting member which can easily improve the earthquake resistance of an existing panel-free type free-access floor, without the need for construction for changing a panel and an adjusting base for the panel-free type free-access floor into a panel and an adjusting base for a panel-fixed type free-access floor. SOLUTION: This panel connecting member 40 for connecting a plurality of panels 4 with a through-hole 10 opened on a top surface comprises a panel-holding flat plate part 42 which is placed on the top surface of the panel 4, and a plurality of leg parts 44 which are integrally formed in the flat part 42 so as to be inserted into the through-holes 10 of the panels 4. The earthquake resistance of the existing panel-free type free-access floor can be easily improved without the need for the construction for changing the panel and the adjusting base for the panel-free type free-access floor into the panel and the adjusting base for the panel-fixed type free-access floor.
