PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of uniformly fixing catechins onto a formed product in a water-resistant manner, which requires no complicated process or novel facility. SOLUTION: In the method of fixing catechins onto the formed product in a water-resistant manner, a water-soluble polymer is dispersed in a water-containing organic solvent, catechins are added to and uniformly mixed in the solvent, the resulting mixture solution is applied to the formed product, and the mixture solution is dried to remove the solvent and to impart water resistance to the catechins.
