PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured and inexpensive dust collector without power supply by which refuse can be removed from a water flow without a need for electricity by giving a rotational power to a rotating drum utilizing the water flow. SOLUTION: The substantially cylindrical rotating drum (14) including a screen (12) formed on a curved face of a drum body to allow the water flow of a river etc. to go through is immersed in the water flow of a flow passage (16), and the rotating drum (14) is rotated around a shaft by the water flow. Thus, the dust collector (10) without power supply collects the refuse in the water flow caught by the screen (12). The rotating drum (14) is provided with a buoyant body (22) which balances the weight of the rotating drum so that an uppermost part of the rotating drum may be made to be substantially as high as the water surface while following fluctuation of the water level of the river etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
