<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter or module wherein it is possible to extract an unbalanced component from an alternating current signal without detecting a supply voltage or a motor induced voltage, regulate the output voltage of the power converter, and control an alternating current to be balanced. <P>SOLUTION: In a power conversion device, an unbalanced current component is extracted from an alternating current flowing into the power conversion device or an alternating current outputted from the power conversion device.
