<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily pulling out a sealing member without attaching/detaching an image holding body unit. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus attachably/detachably holds an image forming unit including: a developing device 44 which develops an electrostatic latent image held on an image holding body 40 with developer (toner); a developer storing part 52 in which the developer is stored; a connection part 74 which connects a developing part and the developer storing part; and the sealing member S which seals the connection part so as to unseal.
