<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive torque from being loaded on a driving motor due to the influences of grease viscosity. <P>SOLUTION: A two-way clutch unit comprises an input outer ring 10 to be rotationally driven by a driving source, an output shaft 20 for outputting torque transmitted from the input outer ring 10 to the outside, a clutch ring 30 provided between the input outer ring 10 and the output shaft 20 so as to be movable in the axial direction and relatively non-movable for engaging with or disengaging from the output shaft 20, and a cam mechanism 40 for displacing the clutch ring 30 in the axial direction with the movement in the peripheral direction to control the clutch ring 30 to engage with or disengage from the output shaft 20. The cam mechanism 40 has a fixed cam 90 for elastically contacting a cover 50 to impart rotating resistance between a cover 50 and itself. A contact area between the fixed cam 90 and the cover 50 is set so that the fixed cam 90 elastically contacts the cover 50 at allowable contact pressure or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
