An inspector, a control method thereof, and a remote inspecting system are provided to inform a remote inspecting server of an error by detecting the error due to the approach of an external magnet near the inspector generating the pulse signal. A remote inspecting system is composed of an inspector(10), a relay(30), and a remote inspecting server(40). The inspector measures one flow of gas, water, and electricity and transmits the measured value to the remote inspecting server. According to the magnetic force sensing means is the movement (rotation or oscillation) of the flow detection means, the magnetic change from the magnetic material adhered to the specific location of the flow detection means is sensed. The remote inspecting server stores the inspecting data transmitted from the inspector through the relay and displays the stored inspecting data. The remote inspecting server outputs the error message transmitted from the inspector and informs a manager of the error message. The relay performs the local wireless communication with the inspector and performs the communication with the remote inspecting server through a mobile communication network. The relay transmits the controls signal from the remote inspecting server to the inspector. The remote inspecting server controls the inspector.
