A swing type opening/closing structure and a multimedia device using the same are provided to perform sliding curve motion during opening/closing considering an attitude and habit that a user has when using the multimedia device, thereby improving usability of an interface having various functions. A second member(2) is slid in a swing type opening/closing structure. The second member covers a first member. The first member(1) is mounted so that the second member is slid. The first member corresponds to a main body with a memory of a cellular phone and a control chip. The first and second members are square. The first and second members have almost the same size and shape. A protrusion(4) is protruded toward the second member in a surface adjacent to an upper side of the first member. The protrusion is inserted into a surface(2b) of the second member corresponding to the surface of the first member in a curve type guide(6). A plurality of protrusions on a surface(1b) adjacent to the upper side of the first member are formed along with the upper side in parallel.
