摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining vertical reinforcements to a flat metal plate, with which the vertical reinforcements can be positioned with high precision and stood at the right angle on the flat metal plate, the vertical reinforcements can surely be joined to the flat metal plate in a short period of time, and joining with high joining strength can be achieved, and to provide a joining structure. SOLUTION: The reinforcement 12 is vertically disposed on the flat metal plate 82 and the reinforcements 12 are joined to the flat metal plate 82. At this time, a metal circular plate 14 is positioned to and arranged at a joining place on the flat metal plate where the reinforcements are vertically joined so that the curved inner face of the circular sheet 14 is made to oppose to the joining place. The metal circular plate is temporarily welded to the flat metal plate. A bead is filled in a gap part between the lower end part of the vertical reinforcement and the flat metal plate by the main welding and generated, while inserting the lower part of the vertical reinforcement into the inside of the curved part of the metal circular plate and holding it in a state that the lower end of the vertical reinforcement is lifted to a prescribed height position from the flat metal plate, and a joined part is formed.
