PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layered battery capable of lessening a connection resistance value between both electrodes and both terminals and restraining deterioration of a cycle characteristic of the battery by controlling generation of fluctuated connection resistance values even though charging and discharging is carried out at a high rate. SOLUTION: A projected section 341 is extended on an opposite surface 34b of a positive electrode side holding plate 34, a recessed section 311 is extended on an opposite surface 31b of an internal terminal 31 at a loosely fitting state, and a positive electrode current collection tab 11 is arranged between the recessed section 311 and the projected section 341.
