PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and image processing program, capable of suppressing color gamut clipping, while saving memory capacity to be used. SOLUTION: According to a color conversion process (S1), a correction value (tΔC, uΔM, vΔY) weighted by a hue weight coefficient (t), (u), (v) is used to correct primary conversion data CMY and second color data C<SB>2</SB>M<SB>2</SB>Y<SB>2</SB>K<SB>2</SB>obtained by the correction are used to produce output color data C<SB>0</SB>M<SB>0</SB>Y<SB>0</SB>K<SB>0</SB>. Therefore, in comparison with a case where correction is performed without weighting, a difference in values of CMY color components is kept and color gamut clipping can be suppressed. Furthermore, a function containing hue informationθas a parameter is used to determine the hue weight coefficient (t), (u), (v), thereby reducing memory capacity to be used, in comparison with a case where the correction value is stored for each hue.
