Disclosed are an antenna and an active antenna system, so as to reduce the complexity and power consumption of an antenna device and reduce the production cost. The antenna comprises an antenna array, a multichannel front end, a multi-beam receiving network, and a multi-beam transmitting network. The antenna array comprises w antenna oscillators, w being a natural number greater than or equal to 2. The multi-beam transmitting network is used for conducting beam forming processing on j transmitting signal beams, so as to obtain m transmitting signals, j being a natural number. The multichannel front end is used for converting the w first radio-frequency signals received by the w antenna oscillators into n receiving signals, and converting the m transmitting signals of the multi-beam transmitting network into w second radio-frequency signals, both n and m being natural numbers less than or equal to w. The multi-beam receiving network is used for conducting beam forming processing on n receiving signals generated by the multichannel front end, so as to obtain k receiving signal beams, k being a natural number.
