<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness by control of an actuator. <P>SOLUTION: A torque interrupting device includes first and second shafts 71, 73 for transmitting input and output which are so arranged as to be relatively rotatable, a main clutch 75 which is provided between the first and second shafts 71, 73 so as to be frictionally engaged according to fastening force of a pressure plate section 141, thereby transmitting torque between the shafts, and a pair of relatively rotatable members 128, 129. The device also includes a pressurizing member set 77 which generates thrust force due to the relative rotation between the members 128, 129 so as to activate the pressure plate section 141 by one member 128 in order to frictionally engage the main clutch 75, and an electromagnet 79 causing the relative rotation. One member 128 of the pressurizing member set 77 is so supported as to be relatively axially movable in a readiness to transmit the rotation to a rotating cylindrical body 85 for transmitting rotation by a ball spline 83. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
