<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer which immediately performs detection of contact of a lens-barrel coating member to the nose bridge of a subject, etc. or desirably performs the detection of approaching, and sends out a warning to an examiner. <P>SOLUTION: An objective lens-barrel 3, which supports an objective lens 2, is provided at the front end of a fundus camera body 1. An approximately cylindrical flexible coating member 4 is arranged on the periphery of this objective lens-barrel 3 and a tape-like strain gage 5 is stuck to the inside of this flexible coating member 4. When the fundus camera body 1 is panned on the side of the nose bridge N, and the flexible coating member 4 touches the nose bridge N of the subject a part of the flexible coating member 4 is deformed. The electric resistance value of the strain gage 5 stuck on the inside varies by this deformation to detect the contact of the flexible coating member 4 to the nose bridge N of the subject, and the warning is sent out to the examiner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
