PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring lens thickness that quickly positions spherical center of a lens of an object to be polished made of a brittle material to highly accurately measure a thickness.SOLUTION: A device 1 for measuring lens thickness comprises: a dial gauge 10 that measures a thickness of a work; a post 3 that includes a dial gauge holding member 9; a work center position support rod 15 that is arranged at a location serving as a center of a work support base 14 and opposing a gauge head 10-1 of the dial gauge 10, and is adapted to support a center position of the work; a work peripheral position support rod 16 that is disposed at equally spaced three points in a circumference of a concentric circle with the center of the work support base 14; and a V-shaped member 11 that abuts against a circumferential lateral face of the work to be supported by the work center position support rod 15 and the work peripheral position support rod 16 to position the center of the work directly under the gauge head 10-1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
