PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell which improves a degree of freedom of layout and has durability to bend deformation.SOLUTION: A battery 10 comprises: an electrode body 20 around which a band-like positive electrode body and a band-like negative electrode body are flatly wound so as to be overlapped; an outer packaging body 30 which is formed by overlapping sheets 31 and in which the electrode body 20 is accommodated between the sheets 31; and a pair of electrode terminals 40 which are connected to the positive electrode body and the negative electrode body and led out of the outer packaging body 30. Winding shafts P1 and P2 of the electrode body 20 are disposed to be orthogonal to a length direction of the electrode body 20. The pair of electrode terminals 40 are led out of the outer packaging body 30 from both ends of the electrode body 20 in the length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
