PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can improve operability in opening an opening/closing member.SOLUTION: When closing an opening/closing member 90, retracting means 80a including a retracting spring 84 having one end attached to an apparatus body is used to retract the opening/closing member 90 to a closing position. When opening the opening/closing member 90, interlocking means 80b is used to transmit, to the retracting means 80a, an operating force of an operation part 92 provided movably with respect to the opening/closing member 90 so as to move the retracting means 80a against an elastic force of the retracting spring 84 to a holding position at which the retracting means is held by holding means 80d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
