The arrangement has a sensor unit (K) for recording a gesture, positioning, movement, and the form of an object (ST). The recording is interpreted in an evaluation unit (AS) and is transformed into control signals for controlling device units (GE). The sensor unit determines a distance between the sensor unit and the object. The evaluation unit causes a predetermined course of movement or adjustment of the device units due to a temporary defined sequence of positions of the object. An independent claim is also included for a method for the control of device units.
