摘要 The present invention relates to a nano-type kimchi lactic acid bacteria, and more specifically, to L. plantarum, which is isolated from kimchi and effective at improving intestinal health. According to the present invention, the nano-type kimchi lactic acid bacteria serves to suppress putrefactive microorganisms inside the intestines and enhances the immune function, thereby improving intestinal health, and preventing and treating colonic diseases including colitis and colon cancer. Also, the uniform size of constituent particles of the present lactic acid bacteria serves to facilitate absorption inside the intestines, and thus the degree to which intestinal health improves is proportional to the increase in concentration of the lactic acid bacteria. Therefore, the present nano-type kimchi lactic acid bacteria can serve as a food additive that is capable of imparting the benefit of lactic acid bacteria to a food product without altering the taste and aroma of the food product, and in which the present lactic acid bacteria is highly heat-resistant and thus can be added to thermally processed food products while maintaining the benefits thereof.
