Provided is a polymerizable composition that contains a predetermined polymerizable compound and a fluorine-based surfactant having, intramolecularly, a pentaerythritol skeleton or a dipentaerythritol skeleton. Also provided are an optically anisotropic body, a retardation film, an antireflection film, and a liquid crystal display device that are produced using the polymerizable composition. The present invention is useful because when manufacturing the optically anisotropic body by photopolymerizing the polymerizable composition, it is possible to simultaneously improve the following three properties: the leveling property of a surface of the optically anisotropic body, the offset to a substrate, and the liquid crystal alignability. |
