The purpose of the present invention is, in a scheme which allows screen development by reusing elements which are made into components, to allow development of the components with ease while effecting conformity and harmonizing of the components with the overall appearance of the screen. According to a representative embodiment, a development assistance system comprises: a component development controller which accepts a request about a reusable component which relates to the development thereof; a component development model which acquires information including the source code about the component; and a component development view which displays a prescribed background image in a developer terminal, and displays, overlapping with the background image, a component development region for displaying the appearance of the component to be developed. If the source code of the component to be developed has been edited, the component to be developed is displayed on the basis of the source code in the component development region with an appearance which is regulated by a template corresponding to a device type. |
