PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative plate material capable of facilitating walking and constructing a design floor surface suited to a shrine or a temple, and a processing device thereof.SOLUTION: A decorative plate material 1 is a rectangular plate material having a predetermined width and a predetermined length and configured by forming many circular arc grooves 11 having curvature radiuses longer than the plate material width and traversing in a width direction at predetermined intervals. The center point of the curvature radius of the groove is set on a plate material surface. The processing device 2 of the decorative plate material includes a table 3 horizontally movable in the longitudinal direction of the plate material, sequential feeding fixing means 4 disposed on the table to repeatedly carry out feeding movement of the plate material in the longitudinal direction for each predetermined distance and temporary fixing, and cutting means 5 provided on the table and including a cutter 51a configured to traverse and move on the plate surface in a circular arc shape with a curvature radius longer than the plate material width and between both sides of the plate material. The device further includes groove end processing means 7 for processing the corner part of the plate material side end part and polishing means 8 for polishing a processing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
