PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser medium which can be used in a laser beam amplifying device which can amplify a laser beam with high quality, a laser medium unit, and a laser beam amplifying device.SOLUTION: A laser beam amplifying device comprises: a laser medium unit 10; an excitation light source 21 which makes excitation light incident in the laser medium unit 10; means (through hole 16a of window material) for supplying a cooling medium into a through hole 14a of a laser medium 14; and a cooling medium passage F1 arranged around the laser medium unit 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
