The purpose of the present invention is to provide a small and inexpensive laser light source device and video display device in which it is possible to efficiently collect laser light from a plurality of laser light sources and achieve an increase in output. A plurality of laser light source units 61, 62, 63, 64 are arranged in a state in which adjacent laser light source units adjoin each other in series. The laser light source device 1 is furthermore provided with second reflective mirrors 81, 82 for reflecting, in a third direction, laser light reflected in a second direction.
