Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and a device, and relate to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: determining, according to resource indexes of Fraction-Physical Resource Blocks (F-PRB) allocated for a user equipment and the number of F-PRBs included in each physical resource block (PRB) pair, an antenna port used for transmitting data to the user equipment; transmitting Downlink Control Information (DCI) to the user equipment, wherein the transmission format of the DCI is DCI 1A and the DCI carries the resource indexes of the F-PRBs allocated to the user equipment; transmitting data to the user equipment through the antenna port. The resource of an F-PRB is smaller than that of the existing smallest Physical Resource Block (PRB) pair, and thereby, when a transmission block does not need the whole resource block, the utilization rate of transmission resources is greatly improved, the waste of transmission resources is avoided, and a more reasonable way of using transmission resources is provided. |
