PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor task processing whose priority order is low in a CPU.SOLUTION: In an electronic control device 1 for a vehicle, an ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) 3 is connected to a CPU 2 such that SPI communication is executable, and a monitoring counter 11 is disposed in the CPU 2, and the monitoring counter 11 is counted up each time task processing whose priority order is high is executed, and refreshed each time the task processing whose priority order is the lowest is executed. When the task processing whose priority order is the lowest is not executed in a predetermined time or more, SPI communication is stopped. The ASIC 3 is configured to refresh a watchdog timer 21 each time the SPI communication is executed, thereby, after the lapse of a predetermined time since the SPI communication is stopped, outputting a reset signal to the CPU 2. |
